Bryanna Gederberg, a permanent staff alum who goes to Messiah College, is leading a team in the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life event at her college in April and she’s looking for sponsors.
This is what she wrote in a recent e-mail about the event:
“I choose to Relay for my personal drive to help others who have been affected by cancer. My grandfather, Jack Gederberg, died in 2002 from Pancreatic cancer. A close family friend, Lynda Montgomery died in 2004 from cervical cancer. I Relay to remember and honor those that I and others close to me have lost. I also Relay to celebrate those I know who have beat cancer and those that are fighting back. All of us have been affected by cancer and always wish we could do something to help.”
