Our very own Becky Kralle, a 17-year-old senior from Baptist High and a member of Chews United Methodist Church, flew to California last week with her family for two days of taping on Teen Jeopardy.

She’s sworn to secrecy on the outcome of her appearance, but has promised to share all about her experience on this blog after the program airs (Feb. 11-22 on ABC at 7 p.m.).

In the meantime, the Gloucester County Times and the Courier-Post have written about the feat and put Becky’s (and her sister Anna’s)  picture in the paper. The above photo is courtesy of the Gloucester County Times and chief photographer Tim Hawk.

For those of us who know Becky, it’s not really going to be a stretch to see her buzzing in with the answers (I mean, questions) on the popular TV quiz show. She is, after all, known for “always winning” trivia contests, particularly ones involving the Bible, in Sunday School and at youth group.

I’ve had the distinct pleasure of having Becky as a camper and staff member at Delanco as well as a youth group member at church. When I read of the news earlier this month, I gushed with excitement and pride for her.

I can’t wait to hear Alex Trabek say her name.
