Junior Camp has officially begun! Last night, over thirty 4th, 5th, and 6th graders entered the sandy grounds of Delanco Camp. Many are actually here as campers for the first time! It’s so exciting to see so many smiling faces here again and to watch as first time campers fall in love with this place. I’m ready to see what’s in store for them this week!
The theme for Junior Camp this year is #LoveYourSelfie, and to me, that is such an important message that people of all ages need to hear nowadays. Especially as Christians, knowing that we are made in the image of a perfect God, we as a culture need to start loving ourselves the way that our God loves us!
So this week, amidst the games on the soccer field, boat rides, and night games after snack, we are learning to love ourselves, because after all, we are worth far more than gold!
