Longtime camp friend Steve Hughes, who is an associate pastor at Washington International Church in Washington D.C. will be the guest speaker at the Delanco Camp Annual Dinner on Saturday, April 13, at Villa Manor in Winslow.

Steve and his wife, Connie, have been frequent guests at Camp Meeting over the years, blessing us with their musical ministry. They moved to the U.S. from Northern Ireland in September 2010.

Not to be confused with the Australian musician and comedian with the same name, Steve was born and raised in a pastor’s home in New Jersey, came to a personal faith in Christ at the age of 12 and has been involved in ministry since his teenage years. He has traveled extensively throughout Europe and North America as a singer/songwriter, received a Bachelor of Arts from European Nazarene College and was ordained in 1993. Prior to coming to Washington International Church Pastor Steve served as a solo pastor for 20 years in Switzerland, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Pastor Steve and his wife, Connie (originally from Northern Ireland) see themselves as a ‘ministry team’. Connie holds a BA from European Nazarene College, an Associateship and Licentiateship from London College of Music, and a National (UK) Certificate in Teaching Adult Learners. She has been a private piano tutor of all levels for more than 30 years. The Hughes have been blessed with two daughters, Shannon and Bethany.
