The possibility of God calling you to a remote village somewhere in the middle of nowhere just became a little more appealing thanks to news that missionary Steve Saint’s flying car has been approved by the Federal Aviation Administration.
For Saint, whose father was killed in the mid-’50s trying to reach a tribe with the gospel in Ecuador, the flying car is more than just a really cool fulfillment of a Jetson fantasy. It will give missionaries spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ better access to more remote areas of the globe, including the very tribe Saint and his mom went to live with in Ecuador after they killed his father and four other missionaries (detailed in the film End of the Spear).
Pretty cool huh?
