VIP lounges, Celebrity Boot Camp, Hollywood Stars, and Reality TV Time, Jr High 1 has officially kicked off. But sometimes fame isn’t everything and we need to be more than just a fan.
Tonight our speaker Joel asked us “Are you a fan, or are you a follower?” This week’s theme of “Famous” is going to have campers asking this themselves this very question: am I just a fan of Jesus or am I a follower? We started tonight with some great worship music and Joel talking about what he has in store for us this week; we finished service by Joel asking all the campers to kneel at the alter and having the staff pray over and for them.
We prayed for a blessed week and for a great time; tonight as we settle into our routine and get ready for snacks and games I ask you to also keep us in your prayers and your self: just a fan, or a follower?
