This song, off the band’s 2012 album The End Is Where We Begin has many interpretations depending on who you speak to, and some I probably still can’t figure out – but this song was one of the most challenging songs TFK had to write (lyric and music wise) because it’s outside their box. To me, it’s a cry out to Jesus and a message sent to Satan. The first half of the chorus is “I don’t think I need you anymore, take your words and your lies and just beat it, I don’t think I need you anymore…” Then the second half is “…take the hurt and the pain I don’t need it, I want to live I want to be the change, we can all be kings and queens (meaning in heaven we can), If we can just learn to believe, if we can just learn to believe.”
