This year’s annual dinner on Saturday night was a bittersweet send-off for camp caretaker CJ Caufield and his wife, Carrie, who were honored during the event at Villa Manor in Winslow.
But it was also a night to celebrate the ministry of camp and raise funds that will support the ministry moving forward into another summer camp season. In total, $10,500 was raised from the event.
Linda Dugan, who helped organize the event, had this to say in a message on Facebook:
A huge Thank You to all who attended the Annual Delanco Camp dinner last night. It was a fun evening filled with many who shared their hearts story about Delanco Camp. Special thanks to Faith Crossan, Valerie Tate and Steve Hughes who shared experiences that have impacted them. The night brought in $10,500 to be used for the good of the camp. Many volunteered that evening and many brought baskets for our Silent Auction. Again, to anyone who helped in anyway, and there were many of you, I am grateful and Delanco Camp is blessed because of faithful servants like you! With a very grateful heart, Linda Dugan on behalf of many.
Below is video captured of CJ and Carrie. Please keep them in your prayers as they prepare to move back to Mississippi, where CJ has taken a job as a pastor.
