Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw stole a lot of the headlines from Opening Day earlier this week when he pitched a complete game shutout and hit the game-winning homerun in the eighth inning, becoming the first pitcher to pitch a shutout and homer on opening day since 1953.
