If you’re into upsets, Round 1 of the Chocolate Region wasn’t for you as only one lower seed, No. 9 Kit Kat, advanced. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups showed why they are one of the favorites to win it all with a dominating 33-0 victory over 16th-seeded Whoppers and Reese’s Pieces weren’t far behind, beating Mounds by a final tally of 31-1. Candy bars with Milk in their name proved to be a tough test in their match-ups, but neither Milk Duds or Milky Way could pull of an upset.
