Saturday night’s Delanco Camp Annual Dinner was a wonderful evening of fellowship, food and testimony as we dined, bid on Silent Auction items, caught up with friends and heard words of testimony about the impact the camp has had on generations of people in the Delaware Valley Region.
From newcomer Roger Gertstl sharing about the impact the camp has had on his walk with Christ since he recently started getting involved to the testimony of longtime camp supporter Connie String and keynote speaker Jamie Damm talking about how we are called to be camp counselors in the Delanco Camp mold, it was a special evening at Villa Manor in Winslow. As camp President Eric Ulrich explained in his remarks and Mark Buzby touched on in his financial report the dinner is primarily a chance to celebrate the ministry of the camp, but it’s also a chance to raise funds.
On that count, an astonishing $14,275 was raised for the ministry. Praise God! Thank you to all who attended and contributed. Click HERE to see a list of all the generous people and businesses that donated to the Silent Auction in the dinner program.
Special thanks too to all the hard work Linda Dugan and her team put in to make this wonderful event possible. Stay tuned later this year for announcement on the date and location of next year’s dinner. You simply will not want to miss it.
Couldn’t have been possible without all the hard working helpers like Andrea Buzby, Karen Corliss, Carla Ralph, Connie String,Dan and Kathi Clayton, Patti Burns, Cj Caufield and Kathy Bodine!
