Why did you want to be on staff this summer? I wanted to take part in this internship so I could give back in some way to the camp that gave me so many great years of spiritual growth and introducing so many good friends.

What are you most looking forward to this summer? Being at Camp all summer hanging out with my friends and most importantly with God.

What impact has Delanco Camp had on your life? It really shaped who I am today. I made a commitment to God when I was 8, but I didn’t feel different until I was old enough to be a camper at Delanco. If it wasn’t for Delanco I might not be the same person I am today. I remember the first time I started to feel a difference in my life, I had went to camp for like half the summer already and was coming home for a week before going back. On that Monday evening my friend Gina, who also was at camp for half the summer, and I went to the fair at the catholic school near us. We saw all of our friends from school there and were talking to them but we started to feel out of place being around them. They were all cursing and laughing and stuff while Gina and I felt so uncomfortable hearing them talk like that. On the way home we both told my parents that we felt like rabbits in the center of a pack of starving wolves. We felt out of place being at home, it was strange but that was truly the first time I felt different coming home. Now every time I come home from camp I feel like I’m leaving my true home for my other home, almost like I’m leaving my house to go stay at a summer home.

If we were to do a reality show about this year’s summer staff, what do you think it would be called? A Day in the Life of a Summer Staffer

If you could live in any state and have your dream job, what would they be? Well I don’t know about what state but my dream job is to be a Computer Graphics designer.
