We’ve had another amazing week here at camp learning more about Kingdom Come through the life of Peter and the various attributes of his life. We looked at the ways Peter proclaimed he would go with Jesus to the ends of the earth, even if it meant prison or death, to his denial of knowing Christ, and his redemptive story after the resurrection of Christ. Along with Peter, we looked at Jesus and the way He welcomed not only Peter back into His arms of grace and forgiveness, but He also welcomes us to His Kingdom. This week many teens gave their lives to Christ for the first time and numerous lives were drastically altered throughout the week.
Along with lives being changed and God rocking the hearts of everyone here this week, we had a blast playing games, doing impromptu worship sessions, making crafts, shake ‘n baking people, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. It was neat to watch the campers and staff interact together all throughout the week; whether it be during service, free time, meals, or games, there was a special bond formed this week and the love of Christ shined through each persons actions.
Here is a slideshow recapping our week together, hope you enjoy it!
