Willie Robertson, of the popular reality show Duck Dynasty, recently visited his alma mater Harding University and talked about his recent rise to fame and the faith that has grounded him through the rise of his Duck Call business and the reality show that has become one of the most widely watched and rated shows on cable TV.

Robertson, incidentally, is a former Christian camp director. He helped run Camp Ch-Yo-Ca in Louisiana in the mid-’90s, the camp he attended as a kid and the place where he first met his wife.

  1. I haven’t seen the show before – not big on reality shows – but my in-laws are big fans.

  2. I wouldn’t call it a reality TV show. I’d call it a “fly on the wall” documentary. I like the fact that just about every episode, if not every one, they show the entire family sitting around the dinner table saying a prayer before closing out the show.
