We now know the name Tenth Avenue North’s follow-up album to “The Light Meets the Dark” and the date it will be released.

The band announced on their website today that their forthcoming album, “The Struggle,” will be releasing on Aug. 21, 16 days after they make what has become an annual summer stop at the camp for a concert on Sunday, Aug. 5.

This is what band member Jeff had to say about the album in a post on the band’s website:

We called this project “the Struggle” from the like titled track because we felt this best represented the collection as a whole. From life to death, birth to final rest, this life is a struggle. We have a disposition to trials and tribulations in this world, but the one thing we don’t have to work to earn is grace. Most of the songs come from: coming to reconciliation, dealing with how God drawing you to himself can bring hurt and pain, and prayers of deliverance.

The album will be the band’s third major label release and the first since 2010. Prior to being signed to a major label, the band had four independent releases.
