I wouldn’t be surprised if there were side bets going on for when I was going to pick, camp friends and popular Christian artist, Tenth Avenue North. Well if you picked March 11, I guess you win!
All joking aside, I have never been a fan of iTunes sessions because they are usually songs I already have from different artists, but (bold & underline that word folks) the iTunes session from the guys is different! Yes, it is a six-track EP of songs you know, but you have to listen to them to realize acoustically how wonderful they are.
Today’s choice is the iTunes session version of “You Are More”, one of my favorites, but I actually might like this version better. They change the rhythm of the song and add a couple side lyrics as well. Remember “you are more than the choices that you’ve made, you are more than the sum of your past mistakes, you are more than the problems you create, you’ve been remade.” Along with “You Are More,” there is “Hold My Heart,” “Worn,” “By Your Side,” a cover of “Stand by Me,” and my absolute favorite Tenth Avenue North song, “Times”.
