Favorite thing about camp:It’s a place where you can feel free to be yourself without fear of being judged.
Elevator testimony (a version of your testimony that could be told in an elevator): Grew up in the church believed at a young age, but my faith didn’t really become my own until about my senior year of high and my first year of college. I made some bad decisions and got into some stuff I shouldn’t have gotten into and the Lord kind of smacked me over the head. I recommitted to him and I would like to say it’s been a smooth ride but there have still been some bumps but I am definitely souled out and by his grace I will continue to serve him…and here’s my floor.
Why did you want to be on permanent staff for the summer? I have been attending camp for 14 years (or so) now and I have never been. It’s something I have wanted to do for a while and after much prayer and consideration I felt like this was the summer and I am excited for what God has in store.
What are you looking forward to most for the summer? 8 weeks of pretzel roll sandwiches.
What is your fondest Delanco Camp memory? July 3, 2001. Was probably the first informed decision I made to follow Christ and that is when I started to get serious about my faith.
What’s something interesting about you that didn’t come up in the Permanent Staff interview? I have a really quirky sense of humor. I can and will make any situation light.
Do you have a hidden talent? I have an oddly good memory for things that don’t matter, but no hidden talents.
