Delanco Camp was designed for whatever event you had in mind! We’re close to it all, being about 30 minutes away from major shopping venues in South Jersey and far from it all, tucked away in the beautiful Jersey Pine Barrens. Our retreat center, kitchen, and dorms are large enough to take on groups and events of any size while our camp has enough get-aways for you to seclude yourself from the chaos of the world and remain in solitude with God. Our century long experience in events that help people connect with God and each other will easily trickle its way into whatever event you want to hold here at Delanco.

Amenities & Lake Agape

Complimentary Amenities

Rental Groups are given access only to the Retreat Center and Tabernacle during their stay unless the size of the group requires additional space. The Retreat Center will have a working TV + DVD Player, access to recreational equipment, a Kitchen, and can house 56 people across three rooms. The Tabernacle can be used throughout the entire stay and sound equipment & projectors will be made available at $25/day used. If your group is larger than 56 people, you will be given additional buildings for free, as listed on the ‘Upgrades’ Tab.

Lake Agape

Rental Groups are also welcome to use the swimming area of Lake Agape and the camp’s boats during their stay. However, Delanco Camp requires a certified lifeguard to be on duty at all times and “Adult Supervision” is not acceptable. Delanco Camp can offer contact to our previous summer lifeguards who would be willing to fill this need for a donation for their time. Lifeguards must have First Aid, CPR, Lifeguard, and Waterfront Certifications. Remember, Ice Skating is prohibited at all times.

Costs for Renting for Retreats, Camping, or Visiting

Retreats

Large Group Retreats are groups with more than 20 people. Costs include a $250 Agreement Deposit and then an additional $20 per person/per night. The minimum for a Large Group Retreat is $500 per weekend.

Small Groups Retreats are groups with 19 people or less. The costs are $20 per person deposit (which must be given 30 days in advance) and $20 per person/per night. There is no minimum cost for a small group.

Campers

Delanco’s Camping Area consists of 12 camping sites complete with electricity and water hookups free of charge. (Water is only available during the fall and spring). The Camping Area is open from Sept. 1 to Nov. 15 & April 15 to June 15. The cost is $20 per Camping Site/per Night or $5 per Tent Site/per Night.

Visitors

Personal Retreats are offered for those who would like to spend a night or two in our Motel Rooms. The rooms are available from Monday to Thursdays during Sept 1st to Nov. 15 & April 15 to June 15. Each room has a bed and full bathroom (No Linens or Toiletries are provided). We do not offer any food services but you are welcome to use our kitchen if you chose to bring your own food. The cost for a Personal Retreat is free.

Day Trips are offered for individuals who would like to visit the camp for a few hours of prayer and reflection. This is completely free but we do request that you contact our registrar first for approval before coming to Camp.

Additional Services & Lodging

Additional Buildings

  • Motel Rooms/Above Lounge: Rooms available as is at $10 a night
  • Boys Dorm: If size of group requires additional space, there’s no charge. Otherwise, $50/night in additional to Retreat Center use.
  • Cottages: If size of group requires additional space, there’s no charge. Otherwise, $25/night/cabin in addition to Rental Center use.
  • Dining Hall: If size of group requires additional space, no charge. Otherwise, $50/day for use of Kitchen.
  • Extra Meeting Spaces: The Lounge & Dining Hall (not Kitchen) are available at $10/each for entire stay of group.

Wagon Rides & Fire

Delanco Camp offers a variety of Amenities that are available upon request:

  • $50 for Wagon Rides
  • $35 for 1 Campfire during retreat (2 hours), $50 for two Campfires during retreat. Note you cannot bring your own wood to camp.
  • $75 for a Combo (One Wagon Ride & One Campfire)

Ropes Course

In addition, we offer a Low Ropes Course which is perfect for any size group. If you request usage of our Low Ropes Course, we will have a weekend retreat staff member come to help you walk your group through our ropes course for some great team building exercises.

  • $10 per person for the Ropes Course on a Day Trip ($150 minimum)
  • $5 per person for the Ropes Course on a Retreat

Policies & Cancellations

Policies

  • All registrations that go through the registrar are not confirmed dates until contract and deposit was received and acknowledged.
  • All deposits are due with contract within 30 days of receiving registrar confirmation of requested dates and contract being sent. (If a date is requested and available with less than 30 days remaining deposit is due immediately)
  • All retreats may be booked up to one year in advance
  • All retreats work on a first come first served basis. No dates held because of prior use.
  • If more than one group/individual wants to use different facilities on the same date it will be approved by each group if possible (example: Group 1 uses ropes course while Group 2 is on a retreat)
  • All payments must be mailed to P.O. Box 303 Oceanville NJ 08231-0303 within 15 days of the completion of your event.
  • Any special requests (camp fire, hayride, etc) must be clearly stated when registering (spot available on form)
  • All work retreats must be approved by property & grounds committee and a member of the committee and/or camp coordinator must be available to supervise the group during the entire weekend.

2. If your date is free, contact our registrar via the button below and note any requested amenities you would need during your stay.

3. You’ll receive a contract from the Registrar in the mail if your date is approved.  You must send the completed forms and a deposit to the registrar within 30 days.

4. You’ll receive a confirmation from the registrar

5. You may hold your event on your requested date and you must send the remaining balance to the registrar within 15 days after the completion of your event.
