The weather outside was frightful…

Today it was very cloudy, but the campers still had tons of fun. During team time, they all took part in a skiing competition where they had to ski in the sand at the soccer field. It was difficult, but they prevailed. Team Avalanche won the event, but the Whitecaps were awarded a Spirit stick for cheering on the other teams as well as their own.

Tonight is the Delanco Snow Ball and there will be fun activities and tons of food. I got to help Julie Ulrich, Snow Ball event/decoration coordinator, set everything up out in the pavilion. The decorations are beautiful and the campers are going to have a lot of fun tonight. Tomorrow is the last day of camp. It feels like the week just started and it’s already coming to an end.
