Kimberlee Costlow sent us a ton of photos from ’90s Delanco Camp. They’re a little odd because they are photographs of photos in a scrapbook, but there’s some real gems in here. It brings back memories for me since I was a total ’90s Delanco kid.

  1. Wow! That’s Rod and I in the first group pictured ( now known more importantly as Turtle’s parents!!).

  2. That’s definitely my mom in the first picture…holding 2 girls that are definitely not Gibersons. hmm… That was a great year for Camp Meeting. I’m pretty sure Roy Lauter was the evangelist for the week, and he spoke about yokes, and my dad rushed home and made those little yoke pins. Good times. Man, I miss being a scamper!

  3. That’s right Robin, it was Campmeeting and Lauter was the evangelist. I was the dean that week. The temp was over 95 every day that week, and over 100 for 5 days.

All we did sit around and sweat together.

It was a good week though.

  4. Enough with the old pictures? I say keep ’em coming! By the way, JD, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing pics of you back in the 80s!!! And now I totally know who “Turtle’s Mom” is. 🙂
