At camp, there are two places where you’ll end up spending money. The first is the Snack Shop where soda, snacks, juices, and camp shirts are sold. (Shirts tend to be around $10-$15 and food products are about $1.50 on average). The second are offerings that are collected during the evening services. One night the offering will go toward missions, another night to support the Tim Bock Memorial Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships. The other offerings benefit the ministry of the camp.
Campers are not allowed to bring cellular phones for any reasons. We understand the concerns parents might have but in the past, we discovered that cellular phones were distracting and/or disruptive for the camp experience and during worship hours. All Cell-Phones found will be confiscated for the week, regardless of the reasoning behind its usage.
All registration is now done online. Go to delanco.org/register to register and follow the directions.
If you would like to fill a paper form, you can go to http://delanco.org/registration-form. Just fill out the form and mail it with (with at least the $50 deposit) to P.O. Box 303, Oceanville, NJ 08231. Note this will not let you apply for any discounts, will take a longer time for your payment & registration to get processed (and thus run the risk of the camp selling out), and isn't exactly going green at all.
There is no longer a FastPass for registration.
Questions about Health & Staff
Our Camp has approximately one staff member for every three campers. Whenever water sports are taking place, Lifeguards must be present and a Health Director is on duty at all times.
The Health-Director is always a state-certified doctor, nurse, paramedic, or EMT. There is a first aid room at the camp which has a regularly-stocked supply of necessary medical items. In the event that a serious injury occurs, you will be contacted as soon as reasonably possible.
If your child has an allergy or special diet, our capable kitchen staff can accommodate dietary concerns within their limitations. If you are concerned about this, please contact the camp and ask for the Cook at least two weeks prior as it may require some provision of special food items on your part.
If your child has any special medical needs, please advise them to our Health-Director who will be present at the sign-in desk at Registration.
First of all, camp counselors are primarily chosen by the deans of each camp. That said, your best chance into getting a counseling position is by getting in touch with the dean of the camp you want to work for. In addition, you must be over the age of 16 to be considered (This is a state-mandated law).
Questions about Contacting Campers
Visitors are allowed to visit each evening during the evening service, which starts at 7:30 p.m. until before the evening activity begins (Historically, most parents would take advantage of Wednesday to meet their child during evening service). Note that no visitors and/or parents are allowed to stay after the evening service for any reason except on Wednesday evenings when we have a Wednesday Night Cafe in the Retreat Center.
Campers may only receive phone calls in the case of an emergency. These calls must go through the dean of the camp. If you have an emergency, phone 609-859-2262. (Remember Cellphones are not allowed at camp)
You may send mail or packages to Campers or Staff at any time. Send mail to [Insert Name of Recipient], c/o Delanco Camp, 191 Powell Place Road, Tabernacle, NJ 08088. Mail is distributed usually once a day during meals.
Daily updates from the camps will be posted using text, photos, and videos to the Delanco Camp Blog.
Questions about Signing-In or Signing-Out
Once you register for camp online you will receive a confirmation email with directions for filling out your health card and camper pick-up form. Your registration is not considered complete until these items are completed.
We’re at 191 Powell Place Road, Tabernacle, NJ and the Registration Table will be at the front porch of the retreat center. (The front porch is the one facing Lake Agape). You may check out our Directions page and then follow the Camp Map to go to the Retreat Center.
Registration begins at 6 p.m.
Please make sure your child can be picked up at 11 a.m. on the last day of camp by his or her parents or legal guardians. Also, please remember to bring Photo Identification along with you. Pickup is at the Tabernacle at camp. Click here for Directions and to view the camp map
You can (and should) permit for someone else to pick your child up instead. Being late seriously hinders the camp's ability to transition smoothly for the next week of campers. To do so, you must provide a letter to the Camp from the parent or legal guardian stating: the child's name, the name and address of the person picking the child up, the date and time of pick-up, and a telephone number where the guardian can be contacted during the pick-up time. This should be accompanied by the guardian's signature. The person making the pick-up should have photo identification at the time of pick-up.

Delanco Camp is an inter-denominational Christian camp in southern New Jersey. We offer youth camps, a family camp meeting, retreats and special events. We exist to bring people into relationship with Jesus Christ and equip them to live holy lives in this present day.
